Engage for Good at the BestCities Global Forum 2027
This year’s BestCities Global Forum in Cape Town introduces Engage for Good, a points-based programme where attendee engagement translates directly into funds raised for Uthando and its Waste to Wonder campaign.
Uthando is building an early childhood development centre in Cape Town’s Heideveld community using 5,000 tyres, 12,000 plastic bottles, and other repurposed waste materials, creating safe educational spaces for 300–500 young people each year.
The more points accumulated as a group, the higher the donation, up to USD 2,500. The Forum is open to international associations, association management companies, core PCOs, and invited guests. If you represent an international rotating event of 500 or more participants and are a decision maker on destination selection, register before 1 August to earn your first 1,000 points.
