BestCities connects associations together, we get the chance to interact and share best practice. Being able to learn directly from my counterparts from very different sectors and also give something back, is a fantastic and truly beneficial opportunity.

I first worked with BestCities when we hosted our 2014 conference in Berlin and the value of that relationship lives on. Today, I’m considering one or two BestCities’ destinations for future events and the internal, transparent knowledge sharing between its members has been incredibly refreshing. A huge amount of relevant information can be efficiently passed directly from Berlin to the other members, which is a huge benefit to me.

While BestCities promotes its excellent member cities and their venues, crucially they are an invaluable source for associations to gain learnings and insights from each other. BestCities foster these inter-association connections. That’s an incredibly important thing.
