Currently working as Business Development Manager, Leonidas Gatete is a Business events and Destination marketing Professional at the Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB), where he supports the country's strategy to position Rwanda as a leading destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) in Africa.

With more than 10 years of experience, he has extensive expertise in international conference bidding, stakeholder engagement, destination promotion, and strategic partnerships. He has contributed to securing major regional and global events for Rwanda, though government institutions, international associations, diplomatic missions, and the private sector.
